AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 25, “PARKS AND RECREATION” OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF GARLAND, TEXAS; PROVIDING A PENALTY UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF SEC. 10.05 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF GARLAND, TEXAS; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE AND A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

A demand for reimbursement of ad valorem taxes in the amount of $11,526.43 is hereby made to the Estate of Lucille Spriggs, 50% fee simple owner of the residential property located in Dallas County at 6711 Lockheed Ave., Dallas, TX 75209. Taxes for 2013-2017 have been paid by 50% fee simple own-er, Clara Spriggs-Adams, who now makes this demand by and through her attorney of record, Drea Haire, 1307 Nueces, Austin, TX 78701.
