This suit is an eminent domain proceeding in which the State of Texas is condemning a tract of land located in Dallas County, Texas, containing 12,820 square feet of land, more or less, situated in the Terrell A. Jackson Survey, Abstract Number 688, Dallas County, Texas, and being a part of a tract of land described in a deed from Dodran Jackson McGuire and husband, E.J. McGuire to William L. Green, Nathel Green, and Roberta Jackson, executed October 26, 1967, recorded in Volume 69201, Page 994, of the Deed Records, Dallas County, Texas (D.R.D.C.T.) such property being fully described in Exhibit “A” of Plaintiff’s Petition for Condemnation filed under the above-referenced cause number.
The interests of these Defendants are that they either own or claim an interest in said property, subject to unpaid accrued taxes.
You are further notified that you may appear at the hearing before the Special Commissioners and present evidence you desire on the issue of damages to be assessed against the State. If you do not appear at the hearing, the Special Commissioners may proceed to assess the damages of the owner of the property being condemned.”

STATEMENT
On or about November 6, 2017, Plaintiffs Pamela Calder and Cynthia Strunk were traveling westbound on Woodall Rogers Freeway in Dallas County, Texas and was slowing for traffic. Defendant Anthony Dwayne Jackson, also traveling westbound on Woodall Rogers Freeway, failed upon Plaintiff. The collision and injuries to Plaintiff were proximately caused by the negligence of Defendant Anthony Dwayne Jackson.
